You went into healthcare to help people - we're here to help you. Healthcare clinicians and administrators spend an inordinate amount of time collecting and analyzing patient charts. It is also difficult to glean insights from that data as efficiently as it should be. Our tools unburden clinicians and management so that everyone can get back to doing what they love - focusing on the patients!
When we entered the MD, PhD program at Vanderbilt University in 2009, we had no idea our lives would take a dramatic turn, but here we are, running an Artificial Intelligence company to improve patient care.
So how did we go from wanting to practice medicine to building AI models? It all started during our medical rotations. We quickly realized there was a huge barrier to pulling actionable insights from patient data. EMRs were clunky and required clinicians to spend hours per day gathering and interpreting data instead of focusing on patient care. This drove clinician burnout and inefficiencies in an already overly taxed healthcare system.
Additionally, administrators and clinicians lacked visibility into their practices’ performance. Healthcare is overflowing with data, and key metrics to optimize clinical practices were hidden away in the free text of charts. We need to understand this mountain of information in a timely way to improve healthcare.
We lept at the opportunity to apply our skills and launched PredictionHealth. Our AI analytics platform for PT/OT clinics, called PT Practice Intel, reveals previously hidden insights, helping you optimize your practice and boost revenue. PT Practice Intel leverages both the structured and unstructured data from your EMR to provide actionable guidance in CPT coding, compliance, productivity, and soon patient care quality.
We envision a smarter healthcare system that makes it easy to learn from data and achieve outstanding, efficient patient care. We’re here to light the way to this vision by seamlessly integrating Artificial Intelligence into your practice. We’d love to show you how!
